How do you arrive at this? He has us in the hunt most seasons. He wins SEC Titles. He also won a national title. He will likely win us another national title.

Did Paul benefit with a team Gifted to him early on in his tenure and won a Natty. I want to think mainieri is a solid skipper. LSU for most seasons have done well. 2013 was a lost season with Nola and Bregman. Lose to stony brook in another lost season . 2017 was awesome but ran into a brick wall vs singer. I think part of Paul’s issue is the coaches he surrounds himself with . Instead of hiring former players.. what about just just hire the best coaches.. idk

Yea, he sucked at Notre Dame. They were really good before he got there and he just rode the Irish coat tails to the CWS because they have such a great tradition of winning baseball. After he departed they got a lot better and went to many more CWS. It's clear as day he didn't accomplish anything while there.

Furthermore, he took over a great and rising program from Smoke Laval. Smoke had this program ready to explode and Paul was just the lucky guy who got hired.

Man this guy is lucky....am I right?
