Couldn’t happen to a more entitled fanbase. They deserve everything they’ve dealt with since passing on EdO.

Thx for sharing
Solid piece of journalism stating the facts on how Pat Haden truly F’kd up and many “experts” discredited Orgeron because of his Cajun persona

Good. FUSC
It wasn’t really the fans though. The fans liked O. It was Pat Haden and other effete administrators who prefer Brie and Chardonnay to crawfish and a can of beer. Now they pay the price for their pretentiousness.Because he would have killed it there.

And just think, with every victory CEO gets the 'cloud' over their admin and program gets darker, even if they weren't even at the school then.
Our success is like spooky action at a distance for them just because they wish they had taken a different path and it's kind of a legacy now.

Yeah, I was an idiot. The Ed Orgeron era exposed lots of folks as idiots, none of whom were Ed Orgeron.

Ed was definitely not country club elite like they wanted. You can tell Ed loved it there. Their loss is LSUs gain. In the end, he belongs here

Good. Their snotty asses screwed their school, players and fan base because they value polish over substance.

How bad would Coach O beat them if he had the chance to this year?

Bill Plaske is an idiot on most subjects. Not surprised he would use O for this story. Line his pockets when he probably made fun of O in the past

Thanks for this
My favorite part of this sordid tale of USC is what Kelly Orgeron said to her husband in the midst of his disappointment:"Don't worry, God has a better plan!"
Too bad that wasn't in this excellent article!!.........got to go check on the amazing Athens Food Bank Fundraising! Thanks to Joe's speech!!

They would also have to have been very patient. Even Ed O admits now, that he wasn’t ready. He attributes his career but especially his Miami stint as his key learning environment. Sure, everybody wants him now but he would have been fired three times at any big school.
When are you talking about? He was at Miami a decade before his first stint at USC.
This article was in regards to USC’s 2013 hiring decision.

When he was at Ole Miss and I watched him on the sidelines (specially when they were playing LSU) I always said I want LSU coach to be like him, he was full of energy and was motivating his players.

Damn good article.
Chills.

It all came full circle for him recently after what was the biggest win of his coaching career and a game that surely made USC fans shiver.
Following LSU’s 46-41 victory over Alabama on Nov. 9, Orgeron surely took special pride in staring across the field at the Crimson Tide’s offensive coordinator.
Guy by the name of Steve Sarkisian.
Chills.
