I’ll remind folks we also run ruled SC last Friday. I assume Heavener will start, hopefully she can limit the walks and the Tigers will win but it won’t be easy they will be starting their 1 not 4 and 5

Agree with that Casual. I'm cautiously optimistic though this weekend. I think SC is better than Bama this year. I'm much more worried about the trip to TX. If Heavener doesn't give free bases I think she haandles Bama well. No way Torina doesn't start Heavener.

Good weekend so far. I was very concerned when they went into the 7th yesterday with a one run lead. It brought back memories of last week, so I didn't watch the 7th and just checked the score.

I said winning two out of three this week was a must because the toughest series are starting. Winning today would be great.

If we can win 1 out of 3 at texas and A @ M and win two out of three against Florida and Arkansas, we will be a top 8 seed.

Very smart. You definitely didn't want to see Berzon's throw to first on the come-backer

When did Berzon come in? I saw that the bases were loaded in the 7th on TigerTalk highlights.

Heavener started the 7th and the first batter got a hit, so Berzon came in.

Next batter flew to center. 1 out.

Then the next batter hit an easy come-backer to Berzon. She could have had a play at 2nd, but decided to go to first. She had all day to throw it, but air-mailed it over Edwards, putting runners at 2nd and 3rd.

They pitched around the next batter, who was Alabama's best hitter, and she walked to load the bases.

Then strikeout, ground out to end it.

My Goodness. I don't think I'll ever watch a 7th inning again if they are winning by one run.
