Did Gio just score from 2nd on a sac fly?

Injury may have knocked out of the running for that spot so far. Can’t recall the details.
From what I gather LSU never saw him as a permanent option at catcher. The staff likes him a lot better at 1st or corner outfield

Willis underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum after injuring his shoulder during his senior year of high school. He suffered the injury diving back into first base.

A catcher in high school, Willis wasn’t even cleared to throw during fall ball.

It took time for Willis to regain his timing, strength and confidence at the plate, but he’d showed signs in recent batting practice sessions. And frustrating as it may have been to not play, Willis always kept a positive attitude.

The shoulder still isn’t 100 percent healed, but coaches have noticed Willis’ considerable talents starting to shine through of late.

sac fly to deep center, 2 runs score!!!
How did that happen?
Right when ESPN cuts out

If I heard correctly the first basemen fell on top of Willis when he dove back to the bag. If it wasn’t for that Willis never makes it to campus

Apparently so. Too bad we didn't get to see it...
Smith up, Dups on 1st, Beloso on 2nd, 2 outs
fouled off his shin, 0-1
CPM and trainer checking on him now... staying in
strike, 0-2
3-RUN HOMER TO RIGHT!!!!!

How long are they going to leave this Grambling pitcher in?
Posted on 4/2/19 at 7:34 pm to Philippines4LSU
Right when the game came back on, they showed a Grambling player making the catch on the run going towards the wall. I would guess that it took more time for him to stop, pivot and throw the ball in.

lol. It’s usually us bitching about leaving pitchers in too long

According to Advocate guy it was caught at the warning track

Now would be the perfect time to show the replay!!

That was the weirdest home run I’ve ever seen

No shite. They know they had technical difficulties.
