You don't think that Landry has like a little more information than you do or I do, you don't think the dude who's funding most of the buyout is going to have a say so and who they pick. That's just the way it is. Is somebody ponied up 27 million or 54 million? Whatever the frick it's going to be and they're going to have a say so I guarantee you that

What a GD embarrassment Jeff Landry is. There is not one good reason for him to be in front of a camera saying that stuff. All he had to say was, "LSU has a process and they're following it. As for me, I'm currently filling in until LSU hires a new university president because that is what protocol demads at this time."

He’s going to take a principled stand on what he sees as the exorbitant spending on college football coaches and LSU will be the test case.
Problem is that unless ALL of the other schools “collude” to do the same in this regard, LSU will not attract top names. Why would an agent advise his client to get involved with LSU’s new way of dealing with HC contracts?
This guy’s accent irritates the shite out me and now he is fricking with my weekend enjoyment.

Woodward cost alumni $50m+ in buyouts between last two coaches. The way contracts are heading, he likely would’ve given out a 10yr/$140m contract that was fully guaranteed.
I’d rather see a group of alumni that have acquired their own wealth working with the BOS on the interview process, contracts. Will we get that, who the hell knows.
