He's looking like he should there. That dinner pic was just a bad pic.

If anything positive came from his injury, it's the fact that he has a young QB on his tail, which may just do the trick and allow him to light it up, im excited to see him compete and see what he's got

negative. Myles Brennan is not in a great shape lately. He's got time to get in shape but its not just a bad pic problem.

I liked what I saw from Max and seriously thought he could push for it... but Myles looks like a damn grown man in these videos. And nice to see him leading vocally. Hopefully the extra muscle pays off and gets him through the SEC healthy

It's pretty laughable. Guy is talented and experienced. He spent time under Joe Brady as well, which is the offense we're going back to (per Orgeron). He's now built to play in the SEC and seems to be a vocal leader on the team.

This is his year to prove what he's got. I think he'll be a 2nd round draft pick after this season. He's going to make some throws that scouts will love.

If I had to bet I'd say he will be the starter. But don't think for a second O is going to forget the performance Johnson turned in to finish the season. He accounted for 8 TD's and only 1 TO in the final two games when it looked like the program was on the verge of collapse (remember, Gilbert had just quit and LSU had just been destroyed by Alabama). While not HOF worthy, Johnson, in his first start at top 5 UF never really looked rattled and made some big time plays. He did it again the following week. Plus, he is the only QB that has the element of running ability. Something that made Burrow dynamic in addition to his great throwing ability. Those final two games changed the trajectory of the whole program at the end of last season (O's words, not mine)

Brennan likely goes into the spring as the presumptive starter. But I doubt O would be hesitant to start Johnson if Brennan doesn't clearly establish himself as dynamic. Hopefully the threat of the young guys pushes Brennan to be great. But I don't think he has a strangle-hold on the job like some believe.

Yeah, and Mac Jones was in peak physical shape last year while he shredded everyone...

Max Johnson looked REALLY good at the end of last year's football season. He moved better than both the other QBs, and seemed to open up the offense more with that mobility. The sample size for Brennan is small, but I hope he gets his chance as he's been a committed Tiger, but to think its crazy for Max Johnson to compete for the starting QB position is not something worthy of LOL!

Brennan's arm talent is there, but he needs to get his body composition right. It appeared last year that he tried to gain too much weight and his mobility suffered. He needs to focus on good weight to maintain good mobility, and decision making/running the offense with efficiency. If he can make quick decisions and escape pressure, the talent around him will do the rest!

Here's to Brennan having a ton of success and having a dream season of his own!

Our QB room is set for a while with Brennan, Johnson, Nussmeier and Howard. Never thought I’d say that.
