Just like rant fans to go hire the mid major person that beat us while ignoring he got demolished by a mid level big 10 team. LSU was not a good defensive team, Coffey might have the been the worse 3rd baseman in P4, it’s the right matchup however the little gimmick offense isn’t sustainable vs elite SEC teams and other just good teams.

What girl wants or would want to come here and play for this program? It's toxic. Ticket prices DOUBLED for SB this season. If she stays, the only fans there next season will be parents and scorekeepers

Beth hired one of the top hitting coaches in the country , this offense with very very few players was top 4 in the SEC and one of the best in school history, if she makes a similar hire for the next coach the the program will be back in the WS next yr

I could see them pulling the trigger after 2027, but not before then barring some calamitous collapse in 2026.
But then again, depending upon how much of her remaining contract is owed by LSU and the payout structure could make a big difference.
Think LSU paying 30% of remaining contract within first 30 days, then annual payments over the next 5 years versus having to pay it all out upfront (which is unlikely, but I don't know the specifics).

The contract of all the coaches is public, they pay her 500k per yr until 2028 unless she finds another job then that would mitigate some of the buyout

Do not agree with all you knee jerkers. Review her year. She does not deserve to be fired. Most of y'all don't even know who is coming back next year. We will be in the national championship talk all year.

What specifics are being used for your case?
Not going to research a detailed answer this morning, but we were top 10 all year long and failed at the end. We should have done better than losing our regional, but don't think she deserves to be fired. She has stockpiled good talent and brings most of the team back next year. She had a run of consistently getting to cws a few years back, and has us looking good enough for a new run at it. Her recruiting has us in the conversation. This team is a hitter or two away from a natty.
She has 700+ wins with a strong winning percentage. 42 wins this season. Everyone acts like it is easy. It ain't.

we have a 50 million buyout with Kelly( and everybody swears we have the money if kelly tanks) but cannot do a 1.3 million buyout for softball

same BS excuse miles pumpers used for YEARS! she is paid half a mill;iona year to win titles. she hasnt won jack shite. same reason miles was fired as we knew he would never win shite again after 2011 SEC title and choking in natty.
have not even made the WCWS since 2017. she pissed away 3 straight shots to win it with studs hoover and alie.
