Good pickup and drop off spots on game day?

This will be my first game and first time in BR. Are there any good places for my wife to drop me off before game and pick me up after game. I’ve looked on Google and the forum and game day looks a little intimidating.

Where will you be staying before/going back to after

It really just depends on the time.
Usually my wife goes all the way down Government or Florida from our house and then goes through downtown to Nicholson and drops me off as close as she can get then turns around. Usually no issue

I’m staying at a hotel in Gonzales, about 30 minutes from stadium.

Drop off: Skip Bertman Dr.
Pick up: Nowhere near campus unless it’s hours after the game.

Drop off shouldn’t be an issue, but pick up will be. I’d go to walk on’s or chimes for a couple hours and let contraflow end

Better get there early, or that "30 minute" drive will take well over an hour.
Oh yeah. Stayed 20 min away last season and a $150 uber and 1 hour+ later we were at the stadium

Chimes closes pretty early though don't they? They closed at like 10-11pm after the Florida game. Ended up getting burgers at the hole in the wall next door (they were bomb tho) and miraculously caught an uber next door.

Yeah I hope to get to the stadium around 4pm.

I'm assuming you plan on tailgating, so just get dropped off early, last time I went to a game you could still get right up to campus until about 2pm.
Maybe I should just let others chime in just realized I haven't been in 21 years FML

Pickup will be pretty difficult

When does contraflow start and end? Would contraflow allow my wife to get to walk ons maybe in 3rd quarter and drive us out after game ends?

Ive caught a ride in the bed of someone's truck a few times after games. Better than walking.

The last time I tried getting someone/uber to pick me up was after Alabama in 22. We ended up walking an absurd distance from the stadium and still waited until after 1:30 AM to be get an uber. I figure I can take it easy on the sauce and just wait in traffic to leave.
Question for others: Does pastimes still do the shuttle thing?
I wish Lauberge still did their shuttle. I remember it not being a thing last year.

I’m an Uber driver and plan on working for the game. Getting there shouldn’t be too hard, but leave early. Leaving the game, you’ll be walking a long ways…or staying put in one spot near the stadium for hours.

I have a couple uber drivers saved in my phone who I reach out to when coming to town for a game. Pay them a little extra and they will wait at Milford park off stanford until the road opens back up after the game, and then will pick me up at the valero off highland.
It's a bit of a hike from the stadium but better than waiting for hours.
ETA: I always get dropped off at walk-on's as that's where I like to pregame
