Why isn't there this kind of support for Jarret? I don't get it.

I've always wondered why Mett doesnt get this kind of support !!!!!!

But, as always .. I will sit back relax and see what happens...

It's there, but most realize he isn't going to start over 2 seniors. Especially the "anointed one".

DC's numbers his sr yr are almost identical to Rohan's. and his leadership that yr was as good as any QB I've seen in CFB. he may not have worked out in the NFL, but don't go selling him short. you give me that type of leadership and production out of JJ and we ain't losing.

Never has such mediocrity received such a loyal and devoted fan club. Or attention. Hope he lives up to the hype.

Yeah, arguing over an unknown. None of us know how JJ will play this upcoming season. Let's just hope for the best.

how does not throwing in the towel on the season b/c he's the starter = a loyal and devoted fan club? this is just like last summer when hoards of lemmings were jerking off to Nuts4LSU's doomsday predictions for the football program like it was some sort of foregone conclusion.

JJ may have a good year or he might look terrible; right now he's what we got. a senior QB with 2+ years starting experience in the SEC has a significant amount of value; add to that the positive reports weve heard from third party observers and there are some reasons to be at least a little optimistic.

if dumbasses want to spend every fricking offseason with a gun in their mouth agonizing over the perceived impending demise of LSU football then that's their choice and their problem.

I wish our fans would wait that long.

when I say "throw in the towel" I mean the constant complaining when any good news is reported on JJ, freaking out when he doesn't tweet something the way you want him to, etc.

every single magazine and analyst says our season rides on JJ's performance so predicting he's 100% going to suck no doubt about does = throwing in the towel on the season IMO.

That's a pretty good line. The essence on the Chicken Little LSU fan in a nutshell.

also consider in your prediction that JJ is the starter all year.

But most still doubt jj can do it. Even after ive posted in multiple threads comparing JJ stats and camobell stats. Campbell had more passibg yds and more attempts. Jj had more rushing yds on more attempts. Overall yds and tds are alnost identical.

Metts not getting support cus hes been here a total of a spring and part if a summer. There are other guys that have put in 4-5 years of hard work to get back to 07 level of play. Last thing les is goung to do is throw a furst year startef out there. Like 08 and 09.
