what's your prediction for LSUs record this year

also consider in your prediction that JJ is the starter all year.

That's a TD classic line right there. I laughed because its funny...I cried because its true.

Why isn't there this kind of support for Jarret?

Because he's not the starting quarterback

I think JJ finally understands what's at stake and what he has to do to be better and lead his team. The fact that he has a really good supporting cast and won't exactly be as outshined by the defense as he was last year will also be a big help. He's proven that he can come through when he's in the spotlight (see: Bama game, Cotton Bowl, Chick-fil-a bowl,) and right now the spotlight is definitely on him.

chocktaw...

I am not going to concede that JJ is a better qb than Jlee.

The reason JJ gets the knod over Lee is b/c LM and staff loves read option play set.
I dont know what percentage of our offensive plays comes from that set, but Id be willing to bet its at least half.
JJ isnt a better game manager, leader, and or passer than Lee.. but he is a better threat to keep the ball and take off. That IMO is why he starts over Lee.

Cambell isn't quite as, how can I put it... DUMB!

See, I think it's the exact opposite. Ask any Auburn fan how they felt about Campbell his first 2-3 years and you'll hear the same thing: Really talented, but just plain stupid.

I think JJ has had more of a confidence problem along with a preparation problem than anything else. Being lazy in the film room shows. Not knowing what to do when you are in the film room shows.

JJ is a better passer than Lee. His career completion % proves that. He has a stronger arm, can throw a better deep ball, doesn't throw off his back foot, and is a threat to run.

1)He has a stronger arm,
2)can throw a better deep ball,
3)doesn't throw off his back foot,

1) couldnt disagree more
2) again I couldnt disagee more
3) as opposed to 7.8 second wind up and delivery.

It is a good article.

But really, The Advocate is just hoping they have an excuse to use this pic for a headline:

Brah, the Great White Hope is Mettenberger now.

Lee is so yesterday.

You might want to go ahead and petition Chicken to change your user name.

Well aren't you just a negative nancy. Everyone's pumping LSU up as the team with the best chance of making it to the NC.. and you're talkin a 9 or 10 win season..
