This team is built for the 3-4. We have installed this defense for almost 4 years now. The D-line is too heavy esp at DT.

You want to change right now? And you thought they were confused the first three games.

In defense of our defense, we have forced a lot of turnovers and gotten a lot of sacks.

We do not have the guys for a 3-4 now.
We're stuck in between the 2 schemes.
Just got to bite the bullet I guess.

Most high schools run whatever they have the bodies for. Usually 4 down, or something shifted similar to 4 that can make it 5.

It's very hard to find 3 big dudes to effectively run 3 down.

Only because they have been running the 3-4 in the past.

In two - three years this team will be built for the 4-3.

See how this works?

How about we just hire a competent DC and let him pick what defense we run. One who has been successful in the last ten years

Giving up 75 yard touchdowns and watching guys constantly out of position sure is exciting!

Some of you "fans" are pathetic. There is no excuse for this kid to go to Bama. One bad year after arguably the greatest year in college football history. Plus our DBS in the NFL? LSU is home and has everything this kid needs to thrive. People saying "I don't blame him because of defense" you're a joke. Kid could come in and start next year. If he leaves so be it, screw it, him, Bama, and Saban. Kid said he grew up "loving LSU", right. Boys his love and loyalty are deep. Geaux Tigers!

This was the perfect offseason to transition, if they ever wanted to do that.

We can't find 2 good linebackers right now. Where are we going to get 4?

The right offseason with the wrong DC to lead the transition.
