As I have stated in other threads, this has everything to do with politics whether people want to recognize it or not.
The SEC is pissed the frick off that the new administration at LSU isn't just right-leaning, but it is also not bending over to every hypocritical whim. When the SEC fricked LSU in the past, the prior administrations said "yes, please, and more". Not happening now.
