What a memory those young men will have for the rest of their lives!

Most will never have such a chance again.

It never really hit the college level

Just those douchebag millionaires who were so oppressed they couldn’t go to the White House

There were some missing but I'm assuming they were getting ready for the draft. Surprised Delpit wasn't there. I didn't see Clyde either.

Delpit, Chaisson, Moss, Fulton. Didn’t see any of those.

They were there but they had a few on stage that didn't smile or clap for anything President Trump said.

They still have plenty of player protests just not public. Difference is LSU isn't a program full of pussies. Speaks more towards the culture at LSU than anything which means the program is extremely healthy.

Not all of the team were there, especially certain key players. Just because it wasn't publically stated why they weren't there, doesn't mean some didn't attend as a form of protest. You would be naive to believe otherwise. This thread wasn't necessary tbh and only draws attention back to a topic that most wouldn't want to relitigate.

The ones who chose to attend, I hope they enjoyed themselves

I have an idea, let people do and go where they want, without it being an issue.

I thought the stage was too small for the whole team. O mentioned other players being in the audience.

Yep.
Not sure why this is so difficult for some to understand.

I’m yet to see any clear articulation on what anyone is protesting anyway.

It always the same old same old “human rights” and “civil right” abuses....okay, specifically what is the issue ?

“Well if you can’t see it , then I can’t help you”

It’s the most clear example of mass hysteria I’ve witnessed in my lifetime.

Coach O and Burrow spoke to the press outside of the WH briefly. He said there were some players who were not there and had already gone to FL and AZ. I believe he was asked something along the lines of whether any refused to attend and he said not to his knowledge or something similar.

I think I saw that interview on WBRZ.

Here it is on the WBRZ Facebook page.

I noticed that too. Especially the big black guy in the blue suit next to Burrow. He never smiled or clapped even for his own team.

Some already left to go to Florida and Arizona to train for draft
It's why they scheduled the WH trip so soon because getting the entire team together later this spring was not going to happen.
No matter who the president is, it's still a cool trip to get access to the White House like that and be honored for your accomplishment, all politics aside, as it should be.

Some people don't smile baw.

My reaction to meeting 45 would be the same as when I got my salad delivered for lunch. And I like 45 for the most part.

The friendly hazing they gave each other is how it should be. "Look at these white boys waiting to see him"
