They are doing neither well

I am cool with White at third because his offense is consistent.

We need Tre back at first, Kling in left and maybe Stevenson or Pearson in right. Jones at DH

Not sure Dugas could cut off a throw in shallow center and throw it home. He very gingerly throws balls from second to first. His shoulder is clearly still hurt.

Defense will get exposed in a big park in Omaha and we are not hitting home runs to cover for bad defense.

Put your application in now. I am sure Woodward will see you would be a far superior Coach when compared to Coach Jay Johnson. Your superior knowledge of the game will force LSU to immediately fire Johnson and hire you...

Haha. I am not pretending to be a coach.

But clearly if you have watched the team they are playing poor defense and are not hitting the expected homer’s to cover for it.

I totally agree.....you had a bona-fide all American 1st baseman, you leave him there.

Morgan has the speed to play outfield but is still learning some of the smaller details.

It worked in out of conference play when your bad pitching was overpowering bad teams. Good pitching will hide defensive liabilities.

Now that you're in the SEC and guys can hit.. and your pitching can't throw strikes your defense has to do a lot more.

Why the errors and mental mistakes have been building.

They are terrible.....12 straight weeks at #1, we should be ashamed. Again I am sure you are far more qualified than Jay Johnson, so apply....
