It took USC a good bit of luck to beat us. The QB falling to the ground and slinging dimes between 2 defenders is unbelievable.

We caused a bunch of fumbles and just weren't able to fall on one.

DBs knew where the ball was and stripped it away multiple times.

Good 3 and 4-man rush all night.

Nuss had reasonable control of the offense.

Defense front made plays causing fumbles and deflections. SC got lucky we didn’t capitalize on any. Haven’t seen that aggression in a few years.

Our D made some stops.

Even our under sized DBs held up somewhat and made plays

we traded offense for defense

i think our bottom end is 7-5 with losses to USC, Piss, Bama, 8&4, Chokelahoma

Top end is 9-3 with wins agains 8&4 and Chokelahoma

Savion Jones played to his potential

Yep that was the biggest surprise for me. He looked like a completely different player. He was the biggest disruptor we had on defense

John Emery ran the ball well when given the opportunity. Brought a spark.

Mason Taylor looked great. zavion and Anderson looked solid. Lacy was unstoppable then they seemed to double him and it took him out the game.

When baker dialed up pressure it worked. They didn’t give up any super big plays. Need to blitz and take chances one on one. They were getting smoked the corners were there so I’ll take those odds.

Nuss was on point and played a solid game. Had a clean pocket all night.

Ashton Stamps at CB. Savion Jones at DE. Lacy looked great. Nuss threw well but needs to show Burrow/Daniels like clutchness on big plays. Burrell kicked into endzone I think every time. Ramos kicked well. Z Thomas looked great and will do something on punt returns. Emery looked good. Pass pro good.

Nuss had a clean pocket but kept throwing off his back foot . He acted like he was responding to pressure...that wasn't there.
One positive point: Kyren Lacy is a Second Amendment supporter.

I agree. Those USC linemen kept being right there to fall on fumbles. The ball kept bouncing their way.

I honestly don’t think this team will be awful. Clean up the penalties and you’re right there. Nuss is legit. Lacy is the next big first round WR. The defense showed some aggression.

Call me crazy but the big games being at home are huge. Take care of business there and this game is erased. 12 team CFP makes this loss less important. Can definitely get back.

Defense is better!! Still have a chance for a 10-2 season

Over a month until an untested Ole Miss team comes to TS. A place they haven’t won at since 08. Win that one and it completely erases this loss. Much like 22 after dropping the FSU game then knocking off Ole Miss at home.

Not a crazy thought to see it play out that way.

Now beating Bama will be the true challenge. Honestly not concerned about a&m at all. But Oklahoma is a total toss up. A lot can change between now and then
