The kid threw an absolute GEM. Deserves a ton of of credit, proud of him

Kind of insulting when your coach was that shocked he threw that type of game

Even more so that he didn't even have his own thread on tRant

I never imagined he could go 7+...amazing performance.
I watched the CSF game and their pitcher mowed down OSU with almost all fast balls. We must have learned from that.

He was great against them in the first game too until things turned after Kramer's error extended the inning and things snowballed
Gilbert has been awesome of late

He did but all threads are getting overwhelmed by ESPN threads

That's why I actually thought we'd beat them the first game
Gilbert had harder stuff
Yes Walker is great but I liked we had him to go to. We just played a bad ball* behind him

Absolutely. 7 shutout innings against the #1 team in the country in an elimination game, Gilbert went above and beyond the call of duty.

Future looks brilliant. Geaux Tigers!

Gilbert was a straight up boss today. I think his pitching allowed his team mates to play loose. They never seemed to press and were patient with hitting and locked in defensively.

I think the error Monday came at the worst possible time. Everything went downhill after that.

Yeah I'm not sure about that...but I am sure that he's the next big thing
Think about what he just did

CPM said something like he wouldn't have expected him to go 7 and only whatever hits it dreamed it
I think
I didn't find it offensive and he also said it along with pap hitting two and Beau
Idk he wasn't being overly surprised just honest as usual
