and it wasn't clear to the ref that threw the flag.
But you know who it was clear to? the back judge, that didn't throw the flag but obviously saw the defender ride the receiver and still didn't throw a flag. He had the best view on the field on if that ball was remotely catchable.

I thought it was a back judge who threw the flag.

Was the pass tipped? It looks like the defender and receiver are waiting for the ball in one spot then react if it is suddenly 3-4 yards behind them.

It clearly looks like the db goes over top of the receiver before the ball gets there. The wr can wait all day for the ball.

Lets get all the facts out here with some clear video evidence, since theres a lot of assumptions based on memory and a grainy gif from one bad angle.
First gif clearly shows he hits him before the ball gets there, and also shows the back side judge threw the flag

now lets slow it down to really see when the contact is made.

This one shows that the ball might have been slightly behind, but without a doubt catchable.

I was dead wrong on my assumptions that the pass was well behind Jaray. Still wasnt' a good throw, but that's 100% pass interference.

It was. How anyone can excuse this obvious corruptions is beyond me. I know people want to believe that a billion dollar revenue generating sport is clean as a whistle, but it is not. Every friggin weekend there is stupid crap that seems to only benefit one or two programs in our conference.

Until changes are made at the top in the SEC, this is going to continue to happen.
