Uhh, didn't yall track the LSU jet to Arizona after Omaha? Perhaps that was significant?

He's got ties to Omaha, all I care about.

Seriously if it’s not Vitello or Corbin it’s gonna be hard to get super fired up. Not doubting these 3, and Godwin would be the best out of them, but they’re not exactly awe-inspiring.

I’d say Vitello is on the level of the 3 names mentioned. Now he may prove to be way better in a few years but right now I wouldn’t say he’s clearly better than Godwin, Johnson, or Jarrett (who should have won that Starkville regional were it not for a defensive meltdown).

Any of those 3 would be really solid hires.

I don’t really get the dislike for Jarrett. Went toe to toe with MSU in the supers. Had he had an easier path to Omaha say playing us, then promptly went 0-2 there. Would there be more clamoring for him?

That is all he has on his resume. He did fine at UNCG but fine is about all I'd give him. I don't hate him. I just don't know why I should love him. He'd be a fine hire.

I think Jarrett would be a good hire, but those around here probably would melt because they dont know who he is.

I mentioned it a few weeks ago after Sully stuff and got downvoted to hell

Jarrett - Pretty underwhelming resume to me.

If he’s the hire, we did not have a good coaching search. Why in the world would we go after Jarrett over someone like Bakich?

Jarrett definitely feels like dumping the gun. Maybe he’s a late bloomer but it’s a thin resume.
