954 mb would mean it's a Category 3. hopefully this forecast doesn't hold up.

Yes, I know the game is in Auburn. It doesn't take much to cancel these games when a hurricane is heading in this general vicinity (see Florida, every time a hurricane swoops by and LSU is on the schedule.)

I would imagine that the outer bands of a Cat 3 (111-129 mph sustained winds) would be more than enough to cancel a lot of weekend activities.

Again, this is a model predicting 10 days out. Things can and should change.

The game is in Auburn, Alabama on 10/1.

ETA: Where it could still conceivably be impacted but not by that particular GFS run.

Well it is still 10 days out, so it probably won’t.

What a ridiculous thread over a model projecting a storm with no center yet. Yikes.

Way premature. The weather nerds over on the OT are scaring everyone.

That's actually a good sign for Lake Charles. No way it actually goes there 10 days out. Two days ago they were saying Florida. They haven't a clue yet where it's going.

I thought Bilbeau was bad on the YouTube chat for OTB but much to my surprise, he gets worse on TigerDroppings
