first preference is still Sugar regardless of Big12 opponent

Why?

I guess I'm wanting some variety

Tired of the same old New Orleans, Orlando, Tampa, Nashville or Houston bowl rotation

Already seen them there after 2001, 2003, 2006, 2007, and 2011 seasons.

I'm with you there. Fiesta would be a fun game to make.

Am I the only one who wants to avoid WVU for competitive purposes though? They'd scare the hell out of me with the way that program gets up for major bowls.

Never forget...

If Bama beats Georgia (which they will) and we win out, Georgia will be behind us period.

Where do people get this “Bama wins out screws LSU” mentality lol.

Highly unlikely Texas makes it as a 3 loss team. If so they would be the first.

Auburn has done it twice, once with 4 loses actually

Ole Miss I believe also twice in 14 and 15

Texas could very well eat us. Who thought Notre Dame would do it last year?

Won’t happen unless Michigan doesn’t make the playoffs or there’s another big 10 team ranked ahead of them. They’ll most likely be the auto bid to the rose bowl.

The Sugar Bowl has to take a Big 12 team so the only way Texas goes to a NY6 Bowl is to win the Big 12 and go to the Sugar. Oklahoma with their pitiful D is not going to the playoffs - they will lose at West Va on the 23rd. Texas will likely get a rematch with West Va in the Big 12 CG

If so, we will have epic fun after reading what's happened in the other thread with coaches telling on other coaches.

ASSUMING the top 4 teams win out, I see West Va. beating OU and Washington beating Wash. St., winning the Pac-12 and playing in the Rose Bowl vs. Ohio St.

The other bowls would shake out this way:

Sugar - Georgia vs. UCF

Peach - LSU vs. West. Va.

Fiesta - Oklahoma vs. Wash. St.

Wash. St. vs. Ohio State in Rose

I read today that the Rose takes the 2nd place Big 10 team if the winner goes to the CFP. That 2nd place team is Northwestern since they have already clinched a spot in the Big 10 championship game. So we could get Ohio State in Phoenix

I’ll take the Fiesta. Don’t think LSU has ever played in the Fiesta.

I think it’s the highest ranked team
