The worst part is that most sequels aren't as good as the original, even when the original was pretty bad.

I don't care who the starter is the backup should always play when the starter is off or the outcome of the game is no longer in doubt. This is Miles' major flaw.

I don't think issue is beating out Jennings. Obviously, Miles didn't want Harris in games at all after the Shreveport radio interview. Miles benched Harris to show him who the BMOC is. Now Miles will pay for that arrogance with his job security.

To all you clowns bitching about Miles being too stubborn (or stupid) to play Harris: if the kid is top lazy, arrogant or stupid to learn the playbook, he shouldn't play. Perhaps it was a mistake to recruit him, or perhaps the coaches don't know how to
motivate him, but not playing him seems like a rational decision.

" I think that both quarterbacks are quality young men, they both competed very hard this spring and are tremendously improved. However our starting quarterback will be anthony Jennings for this season" and then after miles says that he will laugh and give the fans his middle finger lol

No one believes a word of that self serving quote from Les. Its obvious that was designed more to deflect criticism of 2014 than instill hope for 2014.

Bash the players to save the coach.

Do you know this was the problem for a fact?

Time for Harris to step the hell up and seize control. If he can't beat Jennings out still, then the guy just doesn't have it.

Yeah. This tack from the pro-Miles crowd bothers the frick out of me.

The same thing happened with Jarrett Lee. There were "rumors" he was a problem.

How the frick can people act like talking about about Miles is "anti-LSU" but running players under the bus based on internet non-confirmed bull shite is OK is beyond me.

I mean hell, I'd say the reverse should be true. The middle aged guy making north of 4 million should be considered a more valid target for character assassination based on rumors than some 20 year old(give or take) kid.

If you don't KNOW that kid is a head case, shut the frick up.

It's amazing how many laughably stupid comments there are in such a short thread. The Rant is seriously a cess pool off stupid fricks.

we need to get a JC qb immediately.2 years to play and hopefully Franks or Patterson or Harris is ready.otherwise next season is no different, worse if we lose too many juniors.especially with.i am afraid we will be weak team in sec west.

Yep, Lee, Sheppard, and others. Jennings will be their favorite player.

That describes all of the high school QBs since 2006.

Just looking at that predicted quote started making me ill at my stomach --- mainly because I would not be surprised to hear just that type of comment come out of "Mess" Miles' mouth.
