No that's not the reason. Jennings has shite the bed all season since but refuses to make any changes. Don't tell me Harris is that bad or doesn't grasp the playbook. He has had an entire season but Les wouldn't even give Harris a chance in the last couple games. Les has always handled the QB situation poorly. That's why we will lose 3 games minimum next year with poor QB play. You can defend Miles all you want but this situation has been going on for years. But Can you explain why Harris can't be given another shot? The opportunities he has had. He has done better than Jennings

I don't care who the starter is the backup should always play when the starter is off or the outcome of the game is no longer in doubt. This is Miles' major flaw.
Like Flynn in 05 and 06, like rp in 07, like Lee in 09 and 10, like jennings in 13, like Harris for half the season in 14?
Yeah the back up never plays.

If anyone thinks that their will be a competition for the starting job, they don't know Les. How many times will you believe the same lie?

None of us are at practice and seeing the competition every day. I have to believe the coaches see things we don't. In a perfect world Harris would have redshirted and spent this season learning the playbook and maturing. Jennings would be also be on the bench doing the same thing behind a senior QB, maybe playing some backup.but that was not the hand we were dealt. Both are forced to learn on the fly and haven't adjusted well. From what I read, Harris particularly needs more time and I think Miles is teaching him some hard lessons. I truly believe there will be an open competition in the spring. Neither Miles or Cameron got to these jobs because they are stupid despite what some FANS think. They know it's in their teams best interest to get the best players out there. I ll wait to see what happens in the spring. Incidentally don't sell the incoming freshman MacMillan short. I saw him in a couple of games and he looked as good as either QB.

No sir, Miles benched Harris. Cam wanted him in the game. You pumpers are hurting LSU. When a person is poisoning themselves calling it vitamins won't change the results.

Harris needs to go to humility charm school. Miles need to see him be a "Yes Sir" all the time guy. Work his tail off and submit to Miles' way. This is how he will see the field.

Hopefully Harris does some studying during the offseason

To all you clowns bitching about Miles being too stubborn (or stupid) to play Harris: if the kid is top lazy, arrogant or stupid to learn the playbook, he shouldn't play. Perhaps it was a mistake to recruit him, or perhaps the coaches don't know how to motivate him, but not playing him seems like a rational decision.
Shut the frick up Priscilla!

I can't get myself to believe Les any longer. He has said too many things that were outright untrue. If Harris wins this job, he will need to blow Jennings completely out of the water. If it's close in Miles eyes, it's Jennings.

This Harris-Jennings QB battle has been addressed a lot and it is surely the most important matter that must be addressed going into the 2015 season. For the good of the team, it must be FAIR competition. If Miles and Cameron aren't professional and competent enough to assure all the players that the competition was fair, they must be held accountable.
Miles cannot afford to be stubborn and force fans to accept extremely mediocre (at best) QB play.

Article says HARRIS started getting for more first team reps in practice ....Jennings said there was no competition and he got all the reps with the 1's.......
Harris got more during the later part of the season. If you watch the interview Jennings did like a week or so before Music City, they asked him specifically about bowl prep, and he said he was taking 100% snaps for the bowl game.

That there will be a competition? Holy frick why not? This is pretty much what the offseason is all about.

I'll be reporting in with scrimmage info as it happens. Just like I did this year when I said based on my observations AJ would get 75% of snaps. It's all on Harris he needs to become a student of the game and grow up . Should be fun

Still hoping for a JC QB to come here soon.

You do realize the whole "Harris can't learn the play book" excuse is a complete sham, don't you?

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Harris the better QB coming out of the spring game and Jennings was still the starter, day 1?
I'm not sure this spring will yield any different results, even though we all know the QB with the higher ceiling should play.
