Raise your hand if you think Miles is an intelligent man to begin with....

Dude, I'm as big of a JJ fan as they come but it's time to sit him for at least a quarter. This kid looks petrified to throw the ball and confused as I don't know what.

You said a mouth full! Sad thing is Miles doesnt know what Lee can do at QB in a game in 2010! He gets paid too much for this performance???

You think with these players at Boise State our offense would be performing the same way?? HELL NO!

Nobody has accused Miles of being intelligent so what makes you think he knows which qb will perform best. If Miles was actually smart, RS would have thrown one pass, even if it was intentionally out of bounds.

So if Miles is so fricking brilliant with his 4 million dollar contract then why do we see substandard performance in the passing game?

Jefferson and the passing offense are regressing. Now there is nowhere to go but up because you can't regress any more than they already have.

Yeah and it's well deserved isn't it? I have said for two years that coaches are getting paid way to much and show very little result. LSU needs to pay for performance like every other job in America

Lee throwing 16 ints is/was better than Jefferson. That's how bad Jefferson is playing.

If Miles thought... exactly !

Others that make 4 Mil a year = Ludicrous, Jay Z, Perez Hilton, Kim Kardashian, etc. Making a lot of money means zero about your ability in today's world.

But, to be fair - you're right, this is not JJs fault. I'll post it again..

WE DON'T HAVE A QB SITUATION, WE HAVE A COACHING SITUATION.

I'm king of the "coaches know better than the fans" mentality, but the team needs some kind of spark or change...even for it to be wrong. Unless Lee has not completed a pass in practice, I'd like to see what he can do. If he comes in and shits the bed, well, then at least we'll know.

You're also talking about the coach who needed 3 years to figure out that Patrick Peterson should be involved in special teams. Are you kidding me!!?? He is running sideways with a windmill and out running Chad Jones....

This is also the coaching staff that couldn't get Russell Sheppard on the field against Florida last year. He scored two tds in the first game this year.

Don't give Miles credit he doesn't deserve.

I'll go one step further as a guy who wants to see JJ do well. I'm torn because Miles' fault was using up JJ's redshirt freshman year on Lee. If he had not done so, it wouldn't be so much of a struggle to decide to play Lee this year and next. Because he did make that choice, Lee and JJ will both finish their careers next season. However, that's where my blame of him stops because he did just the week prior say JJ was not ready to play.

I do believe J Lee should start for now with JJ playing an expanded Perrilloux role. We need to find out if this will work with out jeopardizing a win nor the run-first identity in the process.

I do hope to see Lee in the game early if not starting next week, but not if they're still using a slimmed down playbook. It will only hurt his play as well without being able to force the issue of the running game.

Also, for those who did not understand, JJ came back in to replace Lee at the end of the game because we needed to close out the game which meant running the ball and the defense had to respect JJ as a runner as well as worry about Ridley. They couldn't just key on Ridley.

I believe the drops though are a big reason for keeping Lee off the field. The receivers have to be more reliable with the catchable balls. Randle has been far more consistent than Shepard and Toliver. In the passing game, I would try to get passes to Randle more than the other two at this point since he has shown the ability to get yards after the catch. I would really consider using Wright in place of Shepard or Toliver.
