I was on the Myles or Nuss train the whole offseason, but after reading practice and scrimmage reports I believe Daniels will be that man. He was the #1 dual threat QB prospect in ‘19 and nearly a 5 star. He was in a shitty situation last year at ASU where he lost his OC, half his OL, and WRs.

Sounds like Jayden has been busting his arse in the off-season and even brought the WRs with him to California to train. He is hungry and it’s his money year. Nuss will get some snaps too knowing Kelly’s history of QB playing. I know it’s not official yet but I’m excited to see what Jayden can do with our weapons. Cheers to one last saturday without CFB on fellas. Cheers

I believe Jayden will be the starter, I respect the decision of this coaching staff.

Daniel’s stats last season at Arizona St vs PAC 12 defenses

TD’s= 10
Int’s= 10

So when you put him up against SEC defenses he suddenly is going to be good.

Crazy to think a 21 year-old can’t improve. Even in that shite year he had 65% completion rate

You’re gonna get a ton of excuses and bullshite but you’re right and if anybody goes back and watched him play it’s even worse than the numbers bear out because his last 5-6 games are absolute stinkers. That’s not to say he hasn’t improved, he’s a 4th year guy with more talent around him and better coaching so no reason he couldn’t. We don’t know how far he’s come but you are right in what he’s shown so far in real games.

Exactly. He wasn't throwing to nor were the defenses he was going up against having to worry about Kayshon Boutte, Jack Bech, Malik Nabors & Brian Thomas Jr.

I will be so happy when I see him blow by the Bama defenders for a 20 yard TD.

And then throws a dime to Boutte on the next series for 40...

He regressed from his freshman year against Pac 12 defenses.

That alone is not enough. Better see some bubble screens sprinkled in there.

His OL was horrible, he got sacked 50 plus times.

Look at his first year stats as a True freshman in 2019, 1 of his WR's was drafted in 2020 the other 2021.

His 3 year totals are 62% completion, 32TD/13 INT. He will have a WR room at LSU from 1 to 7 (Bouttee, Nabors, Jenkins, Thomas JR. Bech, Lacy and Hilton) better than anything he had at ASU last year, plus and OL with a pulse.

2 good TE's (the 2 Taylors) and 2 solid RB's, 3 if Emery plays.

Yes, I agree. Daniels is the best option based on experience against legitimate competition.
