yeah he is really knocking on the door. I would shoot for being on the bench for a sweet 16 game as a starter...but sure, he is getting close. I've never in my life saw a fanbase go nuts over a guy that has never come close to winning anything major....there are a lot of good coaches out there...and you are about to find out. The sec is a lot tougher now than when he was coaching in it. I'll be shocked if he ever sniffs a final four.

Love him or hate him, Wade will go down protecting his players. All great coaches do it. Jay Johnson did it all last season with Jones. There’s a reason Wade has been successful everywhere he goes. His players buy in and love playing for him. Every Tiger fan would love Wade back at LSU and those that deny it are lying.

Not really. Most hack journalists just look at scoring and shooting and determine if a guy "is playing well". Coaches hate that shite. Wade said the guy is helping them win. It is about more than just shooting percent.

Look, I really liked Wade and he is a good coach, but he can be a cocky jackass. He even basically said so and that he had to learn some lessons basically from being that way when everything went down. I believe he said he was too brash. He obviously hasn't changed totally.
