Meaning what?????? You really think that O is gonna go looking for another transfer QB after all this time Myles has been in the wings?????? Him NOT doing that means he is gonna see what he can do. The guy deserves it. And I have never said he is not gonna be good. We just don’t know yet.

I think it does show O has confidence in Brennan if he felt Brennan couldn't get the job done he wouldn't just give him a chance because he earned it. But he still hasn't taken a snap so not ranking in in the top 5 is not an unreasonable position.

I’m just waiting to see him lead this team for the first half of the first game.

Dude..... I’m not so worried about his talent as I am seeing him be a leader..... you know what I’m talking about......

To be fair coaches usually give guys on the roster the spring to properly evaluate if they need to bring in a transfer, which obviously we didn’t have the chance to do this year.

I don’t think we would’ve been chasing transfer QBs around either way but that’s a test Brennan didn’t have the opportunity to pass

We simply haven’t seen anything from him to rank him anywhere.

He could be 1 or 14 right now. Who the frick knows.

Saying we don’t know how good our QB with zero starts under his belt is makes me PJ?

Mmmk

You're right in that he's still somewhat of an unknown, but we have seen him in some of those blowout games last season to get a gauge on him. I see a strong arm kid that scared me sometimes with some of the close throws he made that could have been picked off. I think he needs to do a better job of reading faster and just hitting open receivers faster, but the talent is there, he's got a big arm that can make all the throws.

The general overarching problem with assessments and prognostication is: the parties with the most vested interest in forming accurate projections happen to be the folks with the least interest is sharing them.

If Chizik's predictions were known to be that spot on, someone would already be paying him more than he currently makes to keep that data restricted.

why does anybody care about predictions?

Nobody knows what’s going to happen.

Why don’t we wait and see what actually happens? Then we’ll know.

You really think Coach O is going to jeopardize the team to protect the fragile ego of one player.
How many five star recruits sit on the bench for a few years, then never start.

He had three QBs when he brought in Burrow. How did that work out?

Go watch some old Auburn games where his starting QB's were Barrett Trotter and Kiehl Frazier. That will tell you everything you need to know about Gene Chizik's aptitude for evaluating QB's.
