He wad 2-4 in AA, don't expect Strasburg or Kershaw-esque on the mound Thursday. O's are desperate right now, I don't think this will be for the whole season. Maybe a 2-3 game stint. Plus they have Dylan Bundy in the minors as well. I've watched the O's play all seaaon.
You sure can't tell by your Orioles "knowledge".

Overtime yes, I think him, Bundy and Arrieta/Hammel will be their top three in the staff. It's just hard to get excited when you talk about the O's pitching staff.

Gausman, the 4th overall pick in last year’s draft, has a 3.11 ERA at Double A - with 49 strikeouts and 5 walks in 46 1/3 innings

2-4 means nothing. His metrics are great

He should be up for a start or two while the Orioles starters get healthy. I'd imagine he will be called up permanently along with Bundy at some point after the all star break. Can't wait to see him Thursday

With the way the Orioles are using pitchers ( he makes their 11th starter already), it very possible with a good couple of starts he might get a great chance to stay up for awhile. The O's 4th/5th spot(s) have been a revolving door and alot of scouts thought KG was one of the better SPs in spring training. He s had great command @ AA and you can ignore his W/L rec. he s pitched very well with a legit catcher and the Bowie Baysox have had a poor defense all year (Gas-man could & should easily be 5-1).

He could very well be this seasons Matt Harvey. He came up last year and started about 15 games and dominated from day one. Gausman has similar type stuff to Harvey as well with Harvey having a better fastball.

I'm in Niagara Falls for a few days. Looks like I might drive up to Toronto tomorrow night.

It's a very dumb stat. If you lose every week 1-0 but strike out 10 it just means your team sucks.
