Tee Martin was highly recruited and if im not mistaken made a NFL roster..so he shouldnt have to disagree
Please, a lot of mediocre players make NFL rosters. Martin was hardly a 'great' QB.

Hardly even a competent analyst much less the best. And Jefferson is a good enough QB to do well in the SEC if LSU had an OL.

He made a comment that stuck with me for two days now..You cant win in this league without a great quarterback. I know a lot of people on here find him annoying, but i thought he was right on all night..Jefferson, is absolutely not ready for primetime...
Lou Holtz made the same comment before the Miss State game... he called JJ a "talent" but he also pointed out that he's not doing well and that you can't win in this league unless you have "exceptional QB play" (e.g. Bama, Florida, etc).
And I was listening to Archie Manning on the radio the other day and he was saying that JJ doesn't have what it takes to be a pro passer.

Think Flynn ws much better than given credit for.

ironically, Danielson was advertising him as being a playmaker at the beginning of the game
He was comparing him to Lee at that point. And Jefferson is more mobile and can make plays more than Lee can. So he was right about that. But Jefferson's still not that great.

Jefferson doesn't have to be a pro passer...he is playing in college. Jefferson has 0 chance of ever playing in the NFL.

people on this board want to retire his jersey and throw any memory of JaMarcus Russell away like he was trash.

Danielson definitely has been on Crowton's play calling for a while now.
Think about how many times in important games with inexperienced QB's that Crowton has went five wide from his own 20 in, and what the results were.
Just off the top of my head going backwards. 3rd and 16 Sat. night, resulting in a sack. 3rd and 19 at Georgia resulting in a sack on the 1. Last year versus Georgia on opening play for pick 6. Last year on third and twenty something versus Bama, a short route to D Byrd, resulting in an INT.
I'm sure there's many more examples given more time to think. The point is, there are many more reputable analysts than Danielson that are shaking their heads at Crowton and/or Miles at this point.
In span of two seasons, CLM has went from Lesticles to Coach Labia Majora. I still can't get over his interview prior to the Georgia game saying we're going to play to win, then ending the first half like we did.
It's painful to watch the likes of ULL put 10 in the box and dare us to throw on them in man coverage without a response.

JPW and Flynn were veterans. JJ ain't no veteran.

why do you hate Flynn so much?

I think the more correct statement would be you can't win at the highest level without a upperclassman QB with at least some starting experience.

they still weren't "outstanding" qbs or whatever adjective the OP used in his post.

I don't hate him, he was just an average college QB. he wasn't a world beater but he wasn't a bum... he was just average. he got it to the playmakers and let them take over.

He was a 5th round pick and in the league 4 years. He did something right

comparing a sophomore QB to Seniors of even juniors is ridiculous.

Look, I'm not saying that he sucked...he just wasn't great.

I have stated this same thing about 20 times on here. Go look at Lee's pick sixes. He called several. I distinctly remember the one that they ran back into the 5 in the Bama game last year. I think the problem is and always be Crowton/Miles and not necessarily the QB. thee guys are young and yes - the O-Line SUCKED last year including that Herman Johnson. I also stated during the season that he would not be drafed in the first 4 rounds because he was TOO slow.
