I don't mind the announcers praising Bama. They are a really freaking good football team. But what is sad is when he speaks out of both sides of his mouth regarding hits and penalties. He seems to side more with the calls on the field than the teams associated with the calls.
He started saying how great the LT blocked Key on a play and during the review literally said, "the LT takes down key, well, uh, he doesn't really take him down as much as, uh, ride him down."
He then shut his mouth for a few seconds realizing that Bama's LT was allowed to hold our edge rusher and it was definitely NOT a great block as much as a blatant hold. This will not change, so I am not complaining, but it was satisfying to see LSU actually get away with a few close penalties.
Also on the unsportsmanlike stuff that Bama pulled throughout the game. Had it been a penalty he would've been in agreement. You could see that Bama was taking its frustrations out in an undisciplined way, and unfortunately allowed to skirt the edges of dirty play.

I hate Danielson, just terrible! Alabama's dick stayed in his mouth all game long! Every Alabama miscue was never the result of LSU's good play!

Gary is as bad as Vern, he is always with the team that is wining.Reminds me of Bama fans.
Boy loves to suck Sabans balls!

I would love to have an average game day coach like nick saban.
Saban wins because he has more talent than every team he plays. His 2-year stint in the NFL proves that when the talent is equal, he's just a guy on game day.

He would look at every potential LSU penalty with a microscope but completely ignored bad penalties or no-calls that went bama’s way. He was so obnoxious.

I really like how Danielson calls the games. He’s fair and pretty much says it how it is. That’s why he ends up offending the overly sensitive homers out there from every fanbase.
agreed. Danielson is the best in the business and isn't biased at all. It's just the snowflake homers who can't stomach anything remotely negative about LSU, even when it's deserved.
Complaining about biased announcers or cheating refs is for children - and losers.

Don't forget the obvious pass interference by Fitzpatrick on Chark that he called "incidental contact".

Why doesn't Chark run the jet sweep more? Nothing against Gage but Chark is faster.

Why is bama allowed their cheap shots at end of plays not to mention the 2 shove downs after the play was dead and of course no call. Danielson didn’t even mention it.

Absolutely agree. And usually when we play Alabama they do a lot of good things.
My issue is him changing his stance.
Danielson said this hit was an "obvious ejection".
You tell me how that warranted an ejection moreso than that the hit on Alexander that he said was "just football"?
frick Danielson and his front running arse.

I don't. He speaks as though every comment he makes is the most profound statement ever.

he has an amazing grasp of the obvious, he knows the game(it's not exactly rocket surgery,) but talks too much, was glad to see Verne go but he really hasn't, Gary and he apparently text throughout the game and Gary has to give constant updates on him,

Gary = Finebaum both camping out in Sabans crotch.....nothing new here

Gary said some good things about LSU but this was by far his WORST job ever as an announcer for an LSU game. He literally said some of the stupidest shite I've ever heard him say during this game. That doesn't mean that he also did give us some compliments. Gary was trash Saturday night, and usually I don't complain about Gary.

I made an unfortunate comment about Danielson in the heat of the moment during the game. But I’m going to defend him here. On balance, he sounded fair to me. As a broadcaster, nothing would have been more exciting for him to broadcast than a huge upset of Alabama. It’s not that he’s a fan of either team. These announcers are always hoping to be where the unexpected happens. If he sounded like a Bama homer, it’s because Bama had more big plays than LSU.

Gary danielson is by far the worst college sports announcer. (Well, ever since Verne retired.) He reminds me of the dumber guy from the Sonic commercials. I don't think he's up bama's arse anymore than any other announcer would be. I just think he states the obvious in a really annoying manner of faux importance. I mute the tv whenever he's on. I wish CBS would stream a sounds of the game version.

Chark did a terrible job coming back to the ball.
Would have been a no doubt PI call if he played it right.
I was honestly fine with that no call. Chark had a terrible game.
