Even if the score was a blowout, him throwing 79 pitches over a weekend isn’t a lot. He threw 68 against A&M a week prior. He’s a guy you’d like to have to throw 4-5 innings or be a 4th starter

And if he’s going to be stretched out, you want him building to that. Pitching in a low stress situation seems ideal to see if he can do it.

Guys we just don't understand, because we don't know ball like him. We shouldn't be questioning him. We should be learning.

It's pretty rare for one person to be an unquestionable expert in 2 different sports. I don't know if he's a basketball expert because I don't follow it. It wouldn't surprise me if he is. We will just say he is because I'm sure he will say he is.

We are truly blessed to have an expert in 3 different sports dropping knowledge on this board all the fricking time.

The was in question through the middle innings. Hurd only gave 3 that day and Edwards stabilized the game til the bats caught up. You are wrong again chief

So. The score in the final two innings when he pitched wasn't 14-5 like you keep saying.
Some of y’all may want to actually check the box score and edit your posts.

That's for the OT though.

Did he not pitch the 7th & 8th innings?
He did and the score was 14-5.

lsufball19 is correct, when he walked off the mound in the 6th the score was 10-5. We scored 4 in the bottom to make it 14-5.

What wasn’t mentioned is he walked back out in the 7th and 8th.

Maybe Lester can educate us all on a flexor and how long to expect Garrett to miss if that’s the case

You once posted this direct quote to me

You are the reason Lester Earl thinks he's smarter than everybody on the rant. He owns your arse, and you are too dumb to know when to quit.

And he just proved you wrong as well

It’s a lot when you go through the routine of getting warmed up and pitching in the game before.

Would be even rare for a major league pitcher who are actually conditioned to throw on B2B nights over a long schedule.

And the game was well in hand. He should not have been out there the 7-8th

Oh, he is.

The difficult thing is figuring out what LE isn't an expert at.

So your point is mute. Your takes are incorrect and unbeneficial. You’ve been one of the most unbearable posters on here for years

80 pitches over two games?

What’s your point?

Are you saying that 80 pitches two weeks ago caused the injury today?

In the same day?

I mean that is pushing it a bit, but to have him keep throwing in a 14-5 game was kinda careless

It was. Everyone is fellating themselves over the possibility of proving LE wrong, but y’all aren’t bothering to look at the box score. Edwards pitched 50 of his 69 pitches in the 2nd game of the doubleheader with a 14-5 lead in the 7th and 8th inning. No way to know if it contributed to his injury today, but it was a careless decision to keep one of your best bullpen arms out there with the game in hand
