It’s awesome but everyone should have seen this coming. The week 1 slate is terrible this season.

I'm not really sure there was another option.
The other power conf. "marquee" games that Saturday are:
Baylor @ Auburn
Boise St. @ Oregon
Washington St. @ Washington
It is an AWFUL slate of games besides LSU v. Clemson.

I actually don’t love this.
We already know it’ll be in Oxford for week 3. That makes me question if they’ll come back in November for either bama or Texas. They certainly won’t come for the A&M game.
3 times on gameday? Wouldn’t shock me but it’s a stretch. Gameday in November is way better than September. Hey it’s the lane show though so they might.

Between the way LSU now uses the PMAC on gamedays (Fan Zone, band pregame show) and the way Gameday has exponentially expanded the footprint of the show from a single 3 person desk, there's no way to do it on the ramp anymore.
