hope they keep the LSU fan council and actually listen to what they have to say. after today's presser it sounds like one of Woodys best qualities is he's a good listener

Also, allow booze.
I think in the future, you’ll see a model whereby a drinking ticket (like the Chute currently) costs $30-35 and comes with 4 drinks. I don’t see them allowing unlimited alcohol sales to any individual. I see probably a 4 drink max (hopefully 4 pints or the equivalent), and you have to pay for the whole ticket whether you use all 4 or not.
Just MHO on what will be eventually done based on current trials as well as speculation based on history and current public trends.
The schools want to capitalize on alcohol sales, know they can get a premium but for liability’s sake, can’t sell enough to get someone really drunk off of alcohol legally consumed on premises.
Take all that into account and I see basically an expanded Chute model, only I expect the surface price to increase and a firm drink limit enforced with all purchases going through the same drink card (which is capped at 4). I don’t foresee the ability to purchase additional drinks in the future. Just MO.

LSU could buy a train, refurbish and paint, and add a section of train tracks off of the existing with tailgating spots by the football ops facility. It could be used for all sporting events and run btw btr and Nola
Alleva is reading this and pissed he didn’t think about it first and graffiti ads on those train cars.

look at having a train for at least one home game a year from/to New Orleans...
I wonder what changes to the existing railroad config/infrastructure would need to be made to allow a train to go to/from downtown and L'auberge with a stop at LSU multiple times before and after the game. It seems that could off load a lot of cars on campus.
I also wonder about a passenger ferry from the Wal-Mart in Brusly as it is almost directly across from the Vet School.
Tiger stadium has added 25,000 more seats since the late 70's and nothing has been done about the parking.

We can’t lose Callin Baton Rouge which Garth covered in 1993 from the Oak Ridge Boys 1978 release.
Though I was ok letting Survivors’ 1982 Eye of the Tiger take a back seat.

You listed a few too many things - people only have to be neutral or disagree with one and ‘downvote’ here you go.
For me, it was the focus on concession stand soda pop - could give a ‘rats arse’ about soda pop or the quality of concession stand food.

railroad infrastructure is already there...just add some sort of low platform at LSU to allow for handicapped access...
the issue to me would be where do you get the equipment...running from the old Illinois Central station downtown to campus and down to L'auberge and back would be simple, but I don't know how cooperative CN would be...however 8 Saturdays a year and not even all day...
the ferry from Brusly is a new one on me...not a bad idea, but how much would it cost for the docking facilities and how much would you have to get political play and the Corps of Engineers involved?
and never forget the requirements for handicapped access...
let me throw this one out...could some National Guard or Army Reserve bridging units set up temporary docking facilities on game day as part of their IDT? getting a ferry boat wouldn't be that big a deal...

the first level of parking should include RV hookups with a 20 foot clearance
Is there precedence for RV parking in the first floor of a parking garage? That seems a bit over the top.

at that particular location (South Stadium), to me it'd make sense...

While it would be great, the effects that would have on the economics of the parking structure would be astronomical. First off, the parking spaces would need to be 40' long. This means you're looking at over 100' long spans between columns, creating compounding problems (massive beams , longer columns, larger columns, massive footings, etc.) Then you're adding the weight of a standard parking garage on top of that. Just doesn't seem feasible to me.

Here is something radical.
I have been going to games nonstop since the 80's. The in stadium experience was fantastic ...........one of the best in the country.........UNTIL......everyone had a damn phone in their hand.
Now everyone is so worried about posting /taking pics/ status updates and whatever.
I wish he would ban cell phones or at least kill ALL service. Texts and calls only.
I know..........get off my damn yard.........but no one can concentrate on being loud and yelling when you have to update "hey.......look at my seats in Tiger Stadium"!

Don't know if feasible, but I love the idea and would even look at expanding it to the east beyond NOLA and also to the west from Houston.

I wouldn't think very much since it would be a Passenger Ferry like that have all over the Northeast. Those passenger ferry's can carry a butt load of people but I'm sure they are not cheap. On the other hand, maybe it could be used by all the people that have the constant red arse fighting the bridge traffic the rest of the year.
Maybe Get Gordon would buy one and then he could become "The Official Transportation Injury Attorney of LSU".

We need an elevated crosswalk over Nicholson from baseball parking lot to old front nine parking area. Somebody is going to get run over one day.
Also, need to steal MSU idea and put short term/ long term condos in right field.

No cell phones allowed in Tiger Stadium. It’s time. Only booze allowed in

Fix. Contra flow. Worst post-game traffic in the SEC.
