Might be worth noting that VA Tech hasn’t played a game at Clemson since 2012. Guess he misspoke on that one.

I think he meant he played against Clemson last year. He was talking about how Moore has the experience and knows what it's like to go against a Peter Woods.

Typical rant. 1/2 the board says rotating offensive line is the worst thing possible, the other half says it suggests great depth.

It takes more than one guy to stop the QB from running. Yea in a passing situation you can spy the QB but we got hurt on Zone Read/Power Read last year. A spy isn't stopping that. Sound assignment football stops that.

True. But more than anything I think it was LSU awful safety play that made this a massive issue. The LBs definitely had times where they were out of position. But you expect your safeties to stop what should be an 8-10 yard run instead of turning it int a 20, 30, 40 yard run.

For sure. The safeties were bad in run support. The DL was not good against the run especially the Ends. When teams run zone/power read it is basically like defending the option. Each player has a responsibility they must execute. Some guys are QB players. Some guys have the handoff. First year in the new scheme issues bc those jobs get complicated at times and are dictated by several factors.

Chester who was our starting C last year can’t even make top 2 at OG.

I’d say Mubenga/Echols competition is healthy and OL dooming is stupid.

I don't think you are wrong.

Communication and being in sync with the man next to you is so important along an OL. Swapping players in and out on the road against an above avg DL is suboptimal, especially when the QB is possibly the least replaceable starter on the team.

Always hear how continuity is essential to the success of an oline but they plan on rotating 8 players in a key game?

It is odd that CBK specifically said Moore had experience against Peter Woods, because Peter Woods didn't play in the game against VA Tech last year. So yes Moore has experience against Clemson, but not Peter Woods specifically. I still feel confident in Moore but it is something worth noting.
