Had lots people at my house last night watching and one of the things I noticed several people mentioned …myself I included was how dark it was in TS.

I remember Alabama started this about 5-6 years ago and everybody else seemed to have caught onto it

I’m not a huge fan of the light show. I went to a couple games last year and I was not overly impressed by it, but not mad at it ….seemed like last night though it was just dark for a long time.

Idk … did it seem that way in the game?

Coming out of half time it was dimmer because of tge laser show but as far as during gameplay it was same as usual

The lights dimmed/went almost dark several times but not during play .. maybe at timeouts (I can’t even remember) .. didn’t bother me much.

The laser show at halftime was meh imo.

You know I couldn’t even see the players run out .. now that I think about it. I commented to my spouse wondering if they’d even come out. But there was so much smoke from the fireworks that didn’t help either.

But you’re right — it was definitely dark when they ran out.

Also someone near us said that the coaches stood to the side and did t run out with the players .. I couldn’t even see that. We’re upper SEZ ticket holders to give you idea of us being totally across. Didn’t even see players in our endzone take a knee — a whole lotta smoke as but I saw one for sure run back to the sideline after the smoke lifted.
