With Charles back and Deculus looking like he could solidfy the right side, I think OL play will be improved enough that the scheme itself will start tonreally show.

also it seems unlikely that we’re protecting a huge lead in the second half. I think We’re gonna have to try and move the ball.

One of the top 4 defenses well likely face this year. If there is a secret playbook we will see it.

What makes you think Deculus could solidify the right side?

He looked solid enough at LT a last weekend.

Maybe just wishful thinking

He can't be worse than what LSU has out there Saturday.

Question not addressed to me, but if I were asked, the answer would be that it's extremely improbable that he's worse than Traore.

Right? I dont Know why it’s always N that I hit instead of space, but I do that A lot.

I also don’t proofread anything on TD or in texts. People can use context clues.

I think we will play better. When you don't run the ball well or give up sacks, its easy to say the reason for this is the OL. In the SLU game, there were several other contributing factors for our struggles:
1) Joe held on to the ball for too long
2) Foster Moreau whiffed on multiple blocks leading to at least 1 sack and a TFL.
3) There were a couple of occasions that the back chipped to help Traore only to block the defender into the QB.
4) The new zone blocking scheme is not doing us any favors and may not fit our OL personnel

The entire offense has contributed to our struggles not just the OL. That being said, Brumfield and Traore are clearly our worst Olinemen.

Nothing new about zone blocking scheme.

We’ve ran zone plays since grimes got here.

I'm watching the replay right now and Traore looks awful. It's like he just checked out because it's obvious that he's not trying. He needs to sit.

He was out there Saturday, albeit a different position.

Well, nobody else has, so it's a lotta wishful thinking. It just might work.

I'm talking about the right tackle position. Traore never got above a slow trot Saturday night. I don't know what it would take to motivate him to put it on the table for the team but he didn't look motivated at all. If he legit can't play the position then I apologize and he should've never been put there.

Hey, sometimes you just have to hit the right combination. I choose to be optimistic.

Game 3 I figure Well know what the scheme is all about.

true. We need the OL to start mauling people. Ensminger doesn't seem to know how to scheme around a weak pass blocking OL. It is doable, btw. But, I'd rather we hit on the right mix of nastiness and talent on the OL than wait for our OC to scheme something from the ether.
