winning 1 game doesn't mean much for them even if the entire series goes 1-0. they still only have 11 SEC wins. they need to get to 13 or 14 to give themselves a chance. the potential losses won't hurt as much as the possible wins will help

ETA: of course they play Tennessee next week so they should reach that goal, but beating LSU 2/3 would solidify that

What was your point with this statement?

Glenn gave up one earned run. Are you saying Nola would have thrown a shut out?

You are either saying that Glenn is better than Nola, or you are implying that you are glad that we didn't waste Nola against their ace, who shut us down.

You are definitely wrong. It doesn't matter at this point. Glenn gave up 1 earned run. PM wouldn't look stupid at all, regardless of rain. Now if Glenn would have gotten shelled, I would agree with you, but he had a great night.

I can't read minds, but believe he was saying that when you score 1 run on the road it won't matter who pitches.

if anything, CPM's biggest mistake was having Laird and Stevenson in the lineup at the same time

I agree with this, they are both automatic outs right now. One of them needs to sit, and let Foster/Moore take a couple hacks. We don't need 3 automatic outs right now in the lineup.

If we get rained out of our last two games, then Mainieri will look bad by leaving Nola on the bench.

That was the original statement.

shite man, I wouldnt mind seeing foster and moore both play and have neither Laird or Stevenson play

our pitching has been so damn good, we can sacrifice a little speed in the outfield for offense

I think we need one of them in the outfield honestly. If Moore and Foster both played, that would probably move Katz to right.

The point is obvious. Glenn was not the reason we lost the game. How does that elude you?

OMG! It's too early for you to be drunk so I'm going to chalk your statement up to complete ignorance.

I'm really glad to see Glenn is starting to establish himself

He just needs to cut down on walks and hit batters.

Although not the case much lately, I think Laird's potential to hit is at least good enough for a spot in the outfield because he is so strong out there defensively.

Glenn really pitched well and has really solidified the backend of our rotation. I also love having a lefty on the rotation.
