You are a moron. Nola put it in the dugout...period.
Nola never should have had to pick up the slack. It's like tossing the ball to 2nd instead of stepping on the bag.

1 out, no one on.
Strike, 0-1...
Strike, 0-2...
Swing and miss, strikeout. 2 out.

Bet LSU and AR don't give up another run the rest of the game.

Seriously..AR has to run at that guy til he makes a move. It's not on Nola.
The throw into the mother fricking dugout was on Nola...PERIOD.
Sure, AR could have taken a few steps, but Rendon was about to move and it isn't like our 6'7" 231 pitcher was running him down.

AR could have ran more but that was clearly all nola.
now we have to depend on the bats to pick us up. Its hard on yourself when you give a good team a chance like that.

no it shouldnt be an e on AR. nola should have made an easy throw. instead he fricking chunked it into the dug out.
You're wrong. AR fricked up first...the runner was just standing there. YOu are taught to run at him until he makes a move...period.

its not on AR, but he could have avoided it all by just tagging him..
it does not matter if AR didn't run at him enough, Nola threw it in the dugout...period...

Way to go freshman defenders! Mahtook fails to get to an easily caught ball if Landry is playing in CF, makes a weak throw home, and Nola puts it in the dugout.

So far and what we have seen, we could be as good playing at their field. They sure don't look awestruck by our fans. Now the guy's will have to come from behind again.

Its an error on NOLA, but a mental error on AR!! Gotta run right at the guy and FORCE him to make a move!!!

should not have come to this

you run him to 2nd then throw to nola

so it's Ranaudo's fault, and not the dude who threw it over the head of the 3B during a fricking rundown?
It was Nola's fault on the error but I have to agree the pickle should have started with Hanover. No senese in letting the runner get a shot at third on the first throw.
Posted on 6/5/09 at 6:30 pm to Xenophon
Shouldn't Ranaudo have thrown it to the third baseman to make the runner go back towards second base? Why throw to the SS, which causes the runner to possibly advance a base?
