We’re the number one team in the county more than jus LSU fans think we can beat bama. I don’t count the last 8 years a predictable run first offense isn’t beating nick Saban took the staff 8 years figure that out.

We have the best cb tandem in the country as well as the best safety in the country how is that not a reasonable expectation? The defense will get up and play their arse off against bama they may not shut them down but we have the athletes to contain them

Is this a joke? It is pretty split on them thinking Bama/LSU wins

Didn't we both beat them last year; we scored more points on them than Bama and held them to less points. So, what makes UGA a 2019 college football expert? And is case your keeping score, getting whooped by USC is not a credential.

They were probably just as convinced they'd destroy us last year.

So were many anti O fans.
That Georgia game exposed Smart as not the second coming of Saban, and projected the possibility that O was the man to lead LSU.

Georgia fans also think they have a great football team, so...

Georgia fans need to worry about their own team.

They've got Florida this weekend, then Auburn on 11/16.

They could very easily lose both.

Who gives a shite what anyone thinks. As long as we done ready to play a physical game for 4 quarters I think this LSU team is better than Alabama. I can’t say that the last 7-8 years.

I don’t know if we can win a shootout. Our secondary is young. But 2 of those dbs are first round talents and if they can get two picks Imo LSU can win.

Agree with this. Not sure about several years but not sure we are there yet. Scheme does give us a difference we haven’t had in years past when we DID have the talent to match them. We just did not have the coaching (sorry Les fans that swore he was better than Saban). Not sure we match them top to bottom on talent this year but it is much closer than it has been the past 4 yrs. Think their depth top to bottom is better quality wise than ours. I do think we have done enough and especially with the OK loss that we are positioned to be in the final 4 with a good showing in two weeks regardless of the outcome. I think we have the analysts and self scouting in place to give BAMA a good game. To me Les biggest fault was lack of self scouting and failing to take advantage of any mismatch that didn’t involve the running game. Not the case this year. For the first time in a long time I feel we will go into the BAMA game leaving NO STONE unturned!!! One helluva game to come!!

Until we beat them, this is the way it is. 29-0 just last year for God's sake.

Seems to be a mix. Some picking LSU, some Bama.

"The Defense continues to struggle at times."

The same defense that had to get by the refs and Florida for eight goal line plays?

Agreed. LSU has to be running out of gas. I think Bama's loss comes from Auburn

Nice rational....

What a Mofo fan base wishes and hopes for and what actually in reality happens are 2 different things.
