We need suites with bourbon street style balconies in left or right field.

LOVE the idea of the French Quarter balconies. Hell, take it to the next level and make it a 3 story boutique suite hotel. SEC Baseball weekends would be sold out, and football weekends would have a wait list a mile long for tailgating suites.

While being corporate check whores after the easy money, LSU severely and consistently drops the ball on fan based opportunities such as this that, while less profitable, would benefit the school, fans, and the teams.

The bleachers don’t bother me. I think they should invest in structures out in RF and LF. Move bullpens.

Have some kind of flat platform in left field with a restaurant/bar where you can watch the game from. Basically a beer garden that sells food.

I’d like to see a more major league style seating encompassing the entire field 3 levels high with more suites. Additional bathroom and concession stands, a dedicated student section in the outfield heckling the opposing teams outfielders.

They need to remove the right or left field bleachers and put in a berms like the original plans called for. Not sure why it was removed. They also should have a walkway all the around the outfield.

The only issue with a berm is our climate. Showers pop up all the time. Think of all the regionals that have been interrupted by rain. I wouldn’t want to pay to sit in wet grass or even mud after a weekend deluge.
You need to turn the infield into field level suite with possible balcony suites above on one side and a huge party deck with full bar and food, with SRO ticket

I want them to eventually tell UHigh to relocate their field so they can build a nice elevated concourse with an attached parking garage in LF and center. Maybe some vendors, a lot of places to sit and watch the game while eating and maybe some pavilions that can be leased or reserved on a per game basis.

The good thing is with this demo is taking down metal bleachers which is extremely cheap and quick.

Utilities back there are a nightmare so if new foundations are required they might as well go a lot bigger than just replacing them.

What utilities do you think they have under sections 101-105 and 119-123? That area already has some kind of soil supported foundation supporting the bleachers. They may need to retrofit or redesign the foundations for chairback seats but it shouldn't need to go too too much deeper as they would probably design steel decking and pour over to keep it lighter.

Or build an indoor facility back there

Haha. I've done work on the camera tower, flag poles, and batter's eye. Besides the 4' diameter (if I remember correctly) drainage line that runs just behind the fence there is a good bit of electrical and data runs.

ETA: I got mixed up on where you were talking about. You're right, there shouldn't be nearly as much utilities down the line like there is in the outfield.

To hell with that. Get proper bullpens outside the fence and tear out those abominations that are in play.

Then fill in the seats around them.

My mind is still blown to this day they went back with those metal bleachers on the rebuild.

What a shitty unimaginative effort the new AB was

Place should have been Skip Bertman's crowning accomplishment as AD and it's nothing but half-asseed through and through.

All I hear is how bad the food is. You want more bad food. I don't know myself. Normally for Louisiana folks is a crawdad stand. Beer garden sounds good.
