They didn't question him about Naz's recruitment. They just thought Naz was 30-years-old.

The implications were around Brandon Sampson and a player who didn't sign with LSU.

Is there a legit height for Naz somewhere? 6'9"? I see he was listed as 6'10" "in shoes" in May 2010. I guess none of the major camps take measurements like the predraft camp.

An NBA scout who has visited lots of preseason practices told me recently that the two best prospects he saw were Duke's R.J. Barrett and LSU's Naz Reid. Reid had 29 and 7 in the Tigers' win over UNCG last night. @TheAthleticCBB

I can definitely see him being an all star at the next level.
1st round skill set for sure and insane upside.

Wasn't able to watch

What did UNC do to keep him off the scoreboard in the 2nd half?

Dude is better than Ben Simmons was here. He could be one of the best we've ever had come through before it's over. Glad he is a Tiger

He's a better shooter than Simmons is now.

That's all he does better than the #1 pick? I think he can live with that criticism.

He reminds me of Al Horford offensively. Similar body types and great touch on the shot.

Oh I see. Yea I can't say he is better than Simmons was here. That's a little much right now. I said he is a better "shooter" than Ben right now, that's all. And I don't think Simmons is worried either he's basically the new trip/doub dude of the NBA. I'm not bashing either honestly.

I like what I've seen so far, but I would like to see some elevation (and by elevation I mean height above the floor) in both his offensive and defensive game. His 3-point shot is almost a set shot and even on his shots around the basket he doesn't elevate much. Perhaps he will when he has to.

His shot was just not falling like it was in the first. He had quite a few decent shots just rim out. I didn't really see them affect him much.

The biggest issue last night was sloppiness and laziness with the ball, particularly from our talented guards. They played a very, very soft press and our guards just got lazy bringing the ball up. It looked like UNCG was trying to trap the ball at the half court line, but most of the turnovers came on very lazy passes there. I guess that means it worked a bit.

He is definitely better than Ben Simmons. Ben didn't have a resemblance of an outside shot. Naz appears to have unlimited range and what's more astonishing is he can make them. His isn't pretty but its effective.

Calm right the frick down. He is definitely a much better shooter than Simmons, but Simmons was #1 overall for a reason. Dude is the most rounded player since LeBron. He was kind of a punk here, but the guy is absolutely legit.

None of this is insulting Reid. He looks fantastic. You're just comparing him to one of the best young players in the NBA.

There is a lot of hate for Ben, I get it considering the fanbase he played for. But people don't realize a lot about him. He is becoming a top 5 nba player and that's not us saying this it is everyone in the league. He can't shoot yet and yet he almost averages a tripe double. James Hardin's, who is one of the best five in the league, only skill better than Simmons right now is his shot. Think about that.

I will never understand the hate Simmons gets among the LSU fanbase.
