I think our secondary is going to struggle in this game. That’s not to say they won’t improve throughout the season, but their receivers are really good with an experienced QB throwing to them. We’ll likely have to win a shootout.

On a side note, they are very good, and they showed that last year. Their defense has to keep us off the field and stop us from scoring too, and I just don't think they do that as easily as last year. We also have the bonus weapon of Harold Perkins putting pressure on their QB, which we didn't utilize last year.

We have the major advantage in the front 7, they have the advantage against our secondary. If we can keep Travis contained and make him throw on the run, we’re gonna be fine. Florida state is starting to sound a lil too confident IMO

Well, we are literally seeing 2-3 quotes from players per day. It’s almost as though they are being instructed to hype themselves up as much as possible to convince themselves. I don’t see Malik Nabers saying this. I don’t see Perkins saying he’s putting the world on notice. It’s almost weird how much FSU is talking everywhere

He may be right… but what I feel good about is they don’t get a week one game this year to iron all their kinks out. It feels right, if we’re going to do one of these games to start a season, that both teams should start on the same foot.

Feel like people overlook this so much. I don't care how bad the team is you play week 0. It's huge to have a game under your belt before going into a dogfight.
If we play Southern before FSU last year, there's no way we look like the shite-show we did week 1
