What's that saying?

Tough men make good times, good Times make weak men, weak men make bad times, bad times make tough men.

Seems relevant here.

I said this in another thread but it beats repeating… walking out of the stadium I ran into a 50 something grown arse man bawling like a baby. Snot running down his face… ridiculous

Years ago I was in Huntsville and I saw grown people crying in the grocery store after a big loss. It’s pitiful.

Guys are idiots. They don’t appreciate Coach Saban. They’re a bunch of entitled babies.

I have heard all year about how good their defensive line is. They only gave up x yards per game. Back to the dominant defense days…. Etc

Maybe teams are just getting better. But they will not acknowledge that.

ote: And then there was Brian Kelly’s hell-bent-for-leather game management, which reflected again the fact that he has all the characteristics of an elite coach. What couldn’t be done at Notre Dame, due largely to academic restrictions and a program that puts far too much focus on nostalgia, Kelly has done in less than a season at mega-talented LSU: He has combined his skills as a technical coach with the ability to motivate, enforce accountability and make his team believe.

Lots of comments here, and elsewhere, that the talent level is average at best. Yet, if not mistaken, Saban has brought in the #1 recruiting classes for the past 4-5 years. His "worst" class was #2. His OL were always going in the first round of the draft, all were monsters. So.........coaching?

The dude is not leaving the NFL. Even if he did go to Bama, he’s not worth two squirts of hot tom cat piss without Joe Burrow.

Very well stated, Panzer. I love the people who claim that their program is just plain better. I agree it is better at cheating. That's it. I hope Ole Piss clobbers them.

Is Joe Burrow coming from the NFL to be his QB? Because then I’ll be concerned.

Maybe Chicken can start writing reflective columns about the state of football at LSU from time to time.

And all those weaknesses are manned by tp 25 HS players.

They are not being coached and developed. Bama started the decline after Kirby , Kiffin and Pruitt left. The current bunch are worthless. Saban is too old and fragile to clean house and start over. The fanbase is too afraid to fire Saban.
