Uh, no. Rece Davis has had this same opinion since the call was made 2 weeks ago. Whether it's bc he is an Alabama Homer, or bc he doesn't know the rule, I have no idea. Bottom line is he is just wrong and everybody else on the set knows it.

No dumbass. He's saying by definition you could argue that it was targeting, and in his opinion it wasn't near egregious so he thinks, since it's an on-the-fence call, the ref should have not thrown the flag and warned Devin (warning players happens all the time). He also disagrees with the penalty of suspension.
