why would we let FW leave? I don't understand this. He's arguably the best recruiter in south LA. He loves LSU and would take almost any job we could give him

Yes he’s such a good recruiter. We have such a great running game the last few years.
We will be absolutely fine without him.

LSU has never won anything meaningful with Frank Wilson on staff. He’s been here a total of 9 years since 2010. LSU will be fine.

Apparently that's not true. Kiffin reportedly wanted to retain him in an off-the-field role and he threw a shite fit.

Frank pulled some nice players from NO during his last stint at Ole Miss. I think the Texas amd Juluke combination could be more of a pain due to all of the resources Texas can offer. I think LSU will be fine regardless because Lane seems to recruit nationally and portal guys more than anything but these moves will definitely impact high school recruiting

Never thought this would happen after seeing him emotionally cry to express his love for LSU. And Ole Miss wanted Kiffin to be loyal to them for life.
