Frank Wilson is sub .500 as a HC, our RB rotations have been awful AND he’s a POS as a person. He can frick right off at the end of the season

This would be a disaster............as LSU fans felt the same way about Mike Archer after Bill Arnsbarger left for Florida. LSU needs to find a coach who has been successful coaching at this level and that would eliminate Frank Wilson.

No he really isn’t. Our running backs suck and they’re too light in the loafers for SEC play. Berry would have been a change of pace back a la Richard Murphy on a Les Miles team.

The regression of our running backs isn't talked about enough. Jackson, Durham both have regressed and everybody looks slow. His rotations make zero sense. He's a great recruiter, make him recruiting coordinator or something like that, but his coaching ability is a huge question mark.

Frank had 2 weeks to prepare this team. Blake Baker took advantage of that time, but our horrible offense somehow regressed, but Frank obviously forgot about the offense.

Offensive coaching was as bad or worse than before.

Wasted timeouts.

Tons of ridiculous penalties on offense.

We fired Sloan but somehow let Davis stay on.

Receiver drops and o-line mistakes to go along with the terrible offensive coaching and you get what you deserve, which was 9 points.

New coach doesn’t need to keep any current coaches. If we lose any of the good ones, like Baker, so be it.

Prior to the implementation of NIL regulations, I would concur with the sentiment; however, in the current NIL era, Austin Thomas's influence surpasses that of Frank Wilson or any other Louisiana-based recruiter. The presence of agents representing recruits has shifted the focus to financial incentives, diminishing loyalty to both the state and individual recruiters.

Nope. Total house cleaning. There is nothing to salvage here. It's a total loss.

Keeping him as RB coach would be a mistake IMO. Move him to off-field recruiting. If you need to save face so it doesn't look like a demotion, call him assistant AD of something.

Yeah. So when Verge is finally shown the door, he can be next man up. It's tradition.

Anybody that needed to see the game last night to know he's not a good head coach was just naive or on the spectrum. Look at his record in two chances he's had. Why is he too important to us? Look at where we are compared to all the other teams that are light years ahead of us offensively.
We need a complete overhaul- coaching staff and roster.

Give me some young nerd that can make in-game adjustments based on what the defense is doing. The days of needing Uncle Frank in the living room to sell LSU to kids is long gone. We have to adjust our recruiting tactics to the times and that’s bad news for guys like Frank.

Personally I have gone back and forth on whether to keep him or not but after last night LSU might as well clear out everyone on the offensive side.

Y'all realize he was the associate head coach, right?

A lot of times those titles like Assoc HC, run game coordinator, co-DC/ OC are just a way to give a good recruiter a raise. I think that's most of what the deal is with Frank.

Not necessarily.

Was very disappointed in his lack of emotion on the sidelines. JHC, you would think he would look more like Shane Beamer than Bear Bryant. That's was his shot and he looked lost.

Wilson’s one skill set is recruiting his home town NOLA.
