YES. They were referring to the student section.

108 (STT)Db.

That's like standing on the tarmac when a plane takes off.

You could tell she couldn't hear herself speaking.

It was one of those rare games where every single play seems to feel like the most important play in the history of football. The tension in the crowd is very much palpable. Neither team was able to pull away from the other to the point were either side felt "comfortable". Throw in the added does of the desire to beat THAT team more than any other team in college football, and it leads to a sustained environment of noise.

Kelly was emotional after the game. First and foremost, it was because he knew how much it meant to his players and how hard they played for him. But don't think for one second the environment didn't play a role in that emotion. He's been a college coach for a very long time. If he hasn't already, I bet he would tell you that was the most intense environment he's ever been in. It overwhelms you if you haven't experienced it before. You don't experience anything close to that environment at CMU or Cincinnati. You don't even get it at Notre Dame because (1) while football is important, it's not the "religion" it is in the south, and (2) ND doesn't have an annual opponent they truly hate.

I think we are a hungry fan base again. After you win a title you become spoiled and complacent. After a couple of down years the hunger is back, which equals the unrivaled passion is back. I was there on Saturday night and the whole experience dealt all the emotions. We will have a big crowd in ATL if we clinch the West.

I think it also has to be taken into account that the game ended in a "TD" rather than a FG. To some small degree it doesn't seem "right" that a physical, emotional, hard fought game ends with the smallest guy on the field trying to win a game on the least physical play of all. In other words, is there an "earthquake" if LSU hits a go-ahead FG vs hitting Fuller in the endzone for a TD on a do or die 4th down? Do you get the same emotion if LSU kicks a game winning FG vs. Auburn in 2007 vs the stunning TD catch with one second left?

Exactly, that's why I was annoyed that BK called a TO in the 2nd quarter or so when Bama was on Offense and the clock was running out. I was like FUUUCCKK....Let Tiger Stadium do its thing!!!

We had to call the timeout because we had no rusher on the right side of the defensive front. The nose guard kept waving for a team mate to move over to his right and no one ever came. We had to call the timeout because we didn’t have any one to the right side of the nose.

He does not realize it but Fowler is an LSU fan. He just experienced the culture and the greatest fans in college football. I have been going to LSU games for over 40 years and there is always another ray of excitement that shoots through your body that you get at no other place on earth other than LSU's Tiger Stadium at night. I was born in NOLA and proud to be an alumnus with my father RIP. FOREVER LSU !

Thanks for sharing. I was there and hadn’t seen the broadcast. Kept hearing how Mason cried on his mom’s shoulder and was seeing if there’s video of that. What an incredible experience for him and all our guys. It’s at the 3:02:45 mark.

Fowler was minimum 2 deep into the Moscow Mule concoction so he was feeling the mood after the adrenaline subsided.
I’m sure a few here can identify his feelings there.

Even more impressive to me was how quiet it was on offense. I watched it on TV and it was very noticeable.
