You did when you asked "show me where I said..."
At no point prior had I accused you of saying anything regarding in-game speed and its correlation to the 40 yard dash. However, your response, using the first-person singular, nominative case personal pronoun I, implied that I had made it about what "you" said, when in actuality it was a reply to the conversation as a whole.

And how many times will any of these backs run a 40 yard dash in games?
Rarely which is why I posted what I did. Backs start their motion towards the line before the handoff therefor already have momentum before anybody touches them(most of the time). Most guys are slower out of their position in the forty but are speedy guys and that hinders their overall times.

I'm not sure it's physically possible to run a 4.3 at 6' 240 pounds. Too much mass and not long enough legs
You don't know Bo.

Wasn't bo taller though?
Edit: just looked it up, 6'1 230 at the combine.
Ran a little leaner than Fournette did. Not saying Fournette is a fast, but had Fournette ran around 225 (at 6') it would have been closer to a lower 4.4

And if Bo was was 15 pounds lighter?
Not disparaging LF7. But c'mon.

At least five teams that I know of inside Combine workout timed Fournette between 4.46-4.48.

Then we would have to do the same for Fournette too, again.
Just saying Bo weighing closer to 250 at 6'1 would be more similar to Fournette running at 6' 240.
Bo was taller and lighter in his combine run.
They are both very fast, and Bo may very well be faster. When it comes to decimals in standstill sprints weight matters.
Why I said I'd like to see fournettes 40 at 220-225 to see how close he really was.

Bo ran a 4.12.
Yes a hand timed 4.12 in the early 80s.
Could have been a 4.37, could have been a 4.25. No one knows
I'm not arguing Fournette is faster at all, just that Fournette running the 40 at 220-225, or Bo running closer to 250 would be a more even playing field comparison wise.

Mid* 80s. Well before laser times

I saw that and I don't care about Dalvin cook I care about leonard. Henry ran close to Fournettes time at 6-3 and 247 fournette also jumped 28.5 for his vertical we can't pretend he's doing well just cause we love the guy. He's overweight and lazy that's been his mo for 2 years now and in the NFL that won't cut it. He's my favorite player right now one if my alltime favorites ever at LSU but I'm very disappointed. Talent won't get you anywhere in the league and he's gonna have to start working harder than this. That guy should've run sub 4.45 and vertical should've been over 32. Coming in at 240 is a statement and not a good one.

Is this real life?

I guess you missed the part where he was overweight all last summer.
Posted on 3/3/17 at 6:34 pm to Madking
Oh, I assumed you were just joking but you're serious.
Posted on 3/3/17 at 6:36 pm to DBU
Well yea I live in reality where facts matter and I don't own a pair of purple and gold shaded glasses. He's overweight now he was overweight last summer he ran slow compared to his past times and his vertical jump was a joke. And don't think for one second that being out of shape didn't lead to his ankle injury. But I'm sure you'll just stick your head in the sand and ignore the truth and pretend 4.51 is close to 4.4 and that he blew the doors off at the combine. It's amazing the dellusion our fans can have.
Posted on 3/3/17 at 6:40 pm to Madking
Our fans are literally the worst and completely deserve all of the shite that gets piled on by the media and other fan bases.
You're pathetic.

At his weight, that 4.51 was outstanding.
