Much as I love to see him run, I think he should be shut down until it is 100% and maybe not even then. This team has nothing to play for at this point.

Yea he needs to sit. The only game he was realistically going to play in was a sugar bowl in his home town.

You go to Ole Miss bruh, you can't be saying "us".

Unless you were talking about Ole Miss in which case yes, you also suck balls.

I'm torn between sitting him to make sure he doesn't ruin himself and letting him get that last 160 yards to get to 1000 for the year.

Ankles get like that after mulitple injuries or reinjury. They become permanently weaker unless surgically repaired. Physical therapy alone can only do so much and is very time consuming. The procedure isn't a big deal, he would be fine soon afterwards

I had chronic ankle problems on both ankles. Didn't take time off to heal after sprains and re injured both many times. Got to the point where I could roll it stepping out of my car if i wasn't paying attention.

I felt bad for fournette. He was in pain all year long, even when the announcers thought he looked healthy. He was never anywhere close to 100%, damn shame.

Yep time for him and lsu to move on. Great player and will be great ambassador for lsu but let's see what Brossette can do with Guice.

I did 3 of these surgeries today (subtle brag). The surgery really isn't that big of a deal, he'll be walking in a boot in 2 weeks and probably back to full activity in 8

Trying to not hurt it does not help. A friend told me they screwed up their ankle and I said what was you doing and they said just walking and it turned.

What exactly does the surgery entail?

Don't worry - you're not bragging, you're exposing your ignorance. Unless you have some inside information regarding his injury then you don't know what type of surgery would even help him - which would be critical to determining his recovery time.
