Not sure if it's been discussed already, but Shea was on facebook talking about it earlier and confirmed it was NOT a high ankle sprain, which can take a while to heal.

I'd rather Buga be the one eating.....rather than Guice....if its all the same to you.

Put him in a green jersey and protect our most valuable asset.

6 weeks for me but I didn't get special treatment. I was a competitive weight lifter and was in great shape at the time. With that said, the time off for me was more related to keeping me from loading up on squats and cleans.

Sounds like he just rolled it. Boot is a precaution. He'll play the first offensive snap on 9/3.

Needed to share with Tiger Nation..my son who is a newly minted 2nd Lieutenant USMC rolled his ankle during TBS...he was about 3 weeks away from graduation to his dream, flight school...he had one test left, which was a 15 mile hike/jog with about 65 lbs. of gear...I thought there was no way he'd graduate...his ankle was black & blue...he was in primo shape by the way...well with proper medical attention (he was in a walking boot for several days) he excelled at his final test and is now on his way to flight school.

Fournette will be good to go on September 3

Cool story. Yes, I think conditioning, athletic ability and having access to a world-class training staff and treatment will go a long way. Tell your son to be safe and best of luck to him in flight school.

5Alive, what changed? An hour or so ago you stated it was pretty bad and LF's ankle might be worse than Miles was letting on. What altered that train of thought?

That's not what I said bro I was just agreeing with some of what DALSU saying. Should have clarified. He is good to go. I wouldn't be suprised if he was back more along the 10 day or less mark.
