Generally this board likes to throw shade at Gumps who freak out over recruiting. Yet, tRant is doing the same damn thing right now. He didn't want to attend LSU. So what?
It's rather strange how serious/upset middle aged men get over what 17-19 year olds do with their college careers.

My point clearly went over your fricking head. It's fine to follow recruiting. But entirely too many people cross the line when they tweet at or get angry at kids because they picked one school over the other. That isn't a difficult concept to understand.

I don't even recall people bad mouthing him really.
He was committed to Bama for a while. Wasn't he sent home from an LSU camp for wearing Bama gear? Or his handler was or something.
We weren't really recruiting him that much because he was committed to Bama for a while. Late in the recruiting process he decommitted and we started to contact him again. But that's it. We had other guys higher on our board at the CB spot (like Fulton, Smith, etc.) And weren't we worried about him off the field as well?
Weird that he would say he was getting a lot of hate about not going to LSU considering how his recruiting process played out with us.

THIS.. He was honestly one of the players I couldn't care less about "losing." He wasn't heavily recruited because we had Smith and Fulton on board who are more highly rated to begin with. He might not like us because we didn't recruit him heavily, but I doubt it's because anyone who follows recruiting at all was bad mouthing him.
